PRODUCTION
PINKY SWEAR FILM is producing creative documentary films for all media.
The duo consisting of the filmmakers Philipp Diettrich and Sara Woldeslassie is combining their forces to create films which are inspired by socio-political discourses that are local, yet of international relevance.
In particular, PINKY SWEAR FILM is used as their vehicle to bring to life original ideas that they themselves have authored and developed.
Guided by the believe that film can be used as a powerful tool to critically engage with and give new impulses to contemporary debates, Diettrich & Woldeslassie expand their filmic approach beyond the confines of dominant practices of cultural production.
Although a pinky swear appears to be a small gesture, for us, it is a symbol of serious commitment.
